Returns & Warranty Policy

At Bata, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. While we hope you love your new shoes, we understand that there may be times when a return is necessary. This Returns Policy is here to guide you through the process and is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and other applicable legislation.

Return Policy

  • Customers have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
  • Returns are only accepted if the products are unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging.
  • Products must be resalable, with no visible signs of wear or damage.
  • All original tags, accessories, and packaging must be included.

How to Return an Item

  1. Submit your return request HERE.
  2. Once submitted, our Customer Service Team will arrange collection using your original delivery method.
  3. Pack your return securely, including your:
    • Order number
    • Full name
    • Contact details
  4. Return methods:
    • Door-to-Door Delivery: A courier will collect the return from your address.
    • Pargo: You’ll receive details of your nearest Pargo drop-off point.
    • DC Collection: Return the item directly to our Distribution Centre.
  5. Once received, your return will undergo a quality check.
  6. After approval, your exchange will be shipped or your refund will be processed.

Warranty Coverage

We offer a 6-month guarantee against manufacturing defects for the following ranges under normal wear:

 

  • B-First School Shoes
  • Toughees School Shoes
  • Safari by Bata
  • Bata Industrials Footwear

If you experience issues like stitching failures, sole separation, or material defects within 6 months of purchase, please contact us with your order number and proof of purchase.

Please note: The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, or general wear and tear.

Faulty Product Claims

To assist with your claim, please provide:

  • Clear photos of the defect (bottom, side, and top views)
  • The shoe size
  • Your order number

Once received, we’ll arrange collection. If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we’ll issue a refund or exchange (depending on stock availability).

Refunds & Exchanges

  • All refunds and exchanges are processed only after the returned shoes pass quality inspection.
  • Items must be unused and in original condition — no dirt, wear marks, or damage — for a refund or exchange to be approved.
